What Folks are Saying...

I LOVE this product! As a father and an emergency medicine physician, this is a brilliant product. Thank you. My wife drives me crazy constantly asking me if I have given our child their medications. They receive medication daily for asthma and allergies. Then when they are ill, it is an even bigger issue. My wife and I both work and it is difficult for us to remember when we gave them their medicine last. This was a great communication tool for us. I like the fact that it attaches to the medicine bottle directly, as opposed to sitting on the counter, as we do now, passing notes back and forth. This is accurate and effective. This is a great tool for parents, especially in the middle of the night, when you are half asleep, trying to recall when the last time I administered Motrin or Tylenol! While reviewing this, my child had an ear infection, so we used this consistently in giving them pain reliever. I know it is important to keep track of the medications, as accidental overdosing is a problem in children. Acetaminophen can be dangerous for young children. This is convenient and really requires no extra effort for parents or caregivers. It is portable and perfect for traveling, too. This is easy to use and a great system for parents. I like that the makers of this product seem to have thought of everything. Even including a pencil! Thank you!

The band fits most any bottle and is a great way to record dosages. Having the pencil included and a spot to store it in the elastic is also a valuable time-saver. Not to mention there is also enough give in the elastic band to put a thermometer to have handy, especially while traveling.

I like this product for the idea and concept are great. I work with too many parents who do not realize that they are actually overdosing their child on medication. It is simple to use and very much self explanatory.

Yes, as a relatively new mother I can relate to tending to my ill son and trying to accurately remember the times of dosages of various medications. This dose keeper definitely helps to organize the chaos and relieve some stress, so I can better tend to my children and not worry about "over" medicating.

I will buy this product for our family in the future. My child is rarely ill but he does take daily medication for asthma and allergies. Even as an emergency medicine physician, it can be confusing to remember which medications I have already administered earlier in the day. Thank you for a great product. I will highly recommend this.

"After the birth of my second child, I had a difficult time keeping track of all of our medicine doses.  I’d had a c-section, so I had a few different pills to take, plus Prednisone for PUPPPS which didn’t go away after the birth.  In addition, my son was also on antibiotics for a medical issue, so overall, I had many different medications to keep track of.  Add all of that to an utter lack of sleep, and the potential for an error was very high.

I really wish I had the Dose Keeper then.  The Dose Keeper is a plastic sleeve that slides over my medication bottle with an elasticized band.  It holds a piece of dosing paper, and a golf sized pencil.  Unlike the pad of paper I used for this purpose, because it stays on the bottle, it goes with the medicine.  So, you’ll always know what time the medicine was last taken.
The Dose Keeper comes in 8 different band colors, so you can choose a different color for each member of the family, if you’d like. "

"Thank goodness for the Dose Keeper. I always am concerned about the times we give our baby his meds."- Janna

"I had the same problem with my son before, as well as the whole problem with when was the last dose given. So it became a guessing game as to how much more to give him. But that's just me. The Dose Keeper is a truly amazing product!" Gloria

"As I am sure you know, it can be really dangerous to double dose on medication. When my son is sick and in need of medicine I use the Dose Keeper. I write down the time I give each dose and the type of medicine I use - so that I don't ever get confused about which one I just gave him."- Laura

Tell me if this has happened to you. It’s 2:00 am and your child comes into your room coughing and feverish. You turn to your husband and say, “Honey, when was the last time you gave her medicine?” And he can’t remember when, but he does remember that you were the last one to give it to her. You are left with the question, is it too soon? Did we wait too long?Over the past week my daughter has been running a consistent fever, so we tried really hard to keep her on the Tylenol and Advil on a regular schedule. I kept saying to myself just write the times down, but when I did I just managed to lose the paper (or my daughter decided to scribble all over it)! I kept thinking to myself there has got to be a better way to keep track because relying on either of our memories just isn’t working.Though the scenario might not be exactly the same I think every parent will eventually have their “Uh – Oh” moment. That is until now…A mother just like you and me, just created The Dose Keeper and easy to use system that eliminates the doubts one occasionally has when administering medicine to children.Designed to fit any size medicine bottle The Dose Keeper keeps track of the date and time of each dose on a handy note pad that attaches to the bottle. And best of all it comes with a little pencil. The Dose Keeper eliminates the guess work. Get yours today at www.dosekeeper.com.

I think most parents have been there at some point, and there is nothing more scary ... You go to give your child a dose of their medication and then wonder - "Oh my, what time did I give her the last dose?" Now you have a dilemma. If you give it to her and it is too soon you risk overdosing, but if you wait too long for the next dose, that is not good either ... So, what do you do? ... You purchase a Dose Keeper before the next time you have to give her antibiotics, or pain reliever, or cough medicine, etc.

Dose Keeper is absolutely terrific! I am so happy to share this one with you, because it is so practical, convenient, easy to use, affordable, and saves you a lot of worry and wonder when medicating your children, those that you care for, or yourself. This literally could be a lifesaver! Dose Keeper can be used by anyone, at any age. Great for singles, parents, the elderly, and those who are caregivers. Is there simply a better way to keep accurate track of medications? I have not found one. This fits right on the bottle, and you simply jot down the time of the last dose. When you finish the medication, simply remove Dose Keeper from that bottle and place it on the next bottle you use. It comes with a handy strap that fits around any medication bottle, a pad that has a pre-printed time chart on it to fill in, and a small pencil to use, keeping everything you need right there on the medication bottle, which makes it hard to forget, instead of hard to remember! "The Dose Keeper gives me peace of mind."
- Julie, Florida

"I bought a great product that helps me keep track of my child's medication called the Dose Keeper. Anyways they started National Safety Dose Day where they encourage everyone to go into their medicine cabinets and get rid of expired medicine bottles. Then Safety Dose Day people hold drives accross the nation collecting empty medicine bottles and then donating them to a homeless shelter who reuses them to put in shampoo, hand cream, and other semi-liquids in so that homeless people can have a small supply of health products that are easy to carry. Great cause for oth humanity and the earth!"

"
In reality, giving a medication in higher doses or more frequently than indicated can endanger the health of the child."

"
Acetaminophen is an effective and safe painkiller. However, if taken in excess it can be fatal. Taking an acetaminophen overdose overwhelms the liver's ability to process the drug. The excess acetaminophen is then processed into toxic chemicals, which can kill liver cells. "
